Register an account on 23snaps
You can register either on the website, through the app or in response to an invitation sent to you.
On the website:
Simply go to 23snaps.com and click on the orange Sign Up button in the top right corner. All you need to do is fill in the form with your name, email address and a password for the account (you also have the option of connecting via facebook) and you’re ready to go.
On the app:
Download 23snaps and open the app. Click on the Sign Up button on the left of the screen. All you need to do is fill in the form with your name, email address and a password for the account (you also have the option of connecting via facebook) and you’re ready to go.
From an invitation to connect:
You will receive an email from a friend or family member who wants to share photos with you. Open the email and click on the Accept Invitation button. Fill in the form with the required details or connect through Facebook.
Accessing your 23snaps account
On the website
Accessing 23snaps is simple and easy! Head over to the 23snaps website, if you have already registered an account; simply click the login button and then enter your e-mail and password in the designated spaces.
On the app
If you don't have the 23snaps app yet, simply open up the App Store (for IOS) or the Google Play Store (for Android) and search 23snaps. Click install to download your completely free version of 23snaps and your nearly up and running. Once you have installed the application, simply touch the 23snaps icon on your smartphone to launch the app. Once 23snaps is open, if you have already registered an account; simply click Login to enter your e-mail and password in the designated spaces. If you do not have an account yet, click the Register button to create a free 23snaps account within minutes!
Setting or changing your profile picture
On the website
Log on to your account through the website, click on "Your Name" in the Menu tab at the top of the screen and select Settings. Then you will need to select the My Account tab, there you will need to click the Change Picture button. Once you have chosen your new image it will be saved automatically, there's no need to click Save Changes.
On the app
First, open the 23snaps app, then press the More button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Next click the Manage My Family option and then My Profile. Click on the thumbnail image of your current profile picture (or the placeholder icon if you've yet to set a picture). Once you have selected this option, you are now able to choose whether you want to remove the current picture, take a new photo, or choose one from your smartphone library to create your new profile picture. Once you have made your choice, remember to hit Save.
On the Android app:
Tap the Menu button in the top left corner of the screen. Scroll down to Manage My Family and select My Profile. Now you simply need to delete your existing email address and enter the new one, finally click Save to save your changes.
What is the Newsfeed?
Your Newsfeed is like the homepage of the app, it shows all of the posts that have been uploaded by yourself and your connections.
Log out of your 23snaps account
On the website
Click "Your Name" in the top left corner of the screen, then select Log Out from the drop down menu.
On the iOS app
Tap the More button in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Select Log Out.
On the Android app
Tap the Menu button in the top left corner of the screen, then select Settings. Finally tap the Log Out button.
